Jonathan Frankel is President of Aldo Product Services (APS), the Aldo Group’s wholesale division.
Mr. Frankel joined the Aldo Group in 2011 shortly after the launch of APS, which was created to serve other retailers and became a $100M business in just 18 months. He started as Brand Manager, and in less than five years, he became Senior Vice President of APS. By 2017, APS proudly served many of the world’s largest retailers and helped them sell $1B worth of shoes. Mr. Frankel played a major part in this success, and today, APS is a multi-branded licensing and wholesale division that also undertakes e-commerce, retail DTC, and marketing operations.
Mr. Frankel is committed to the continued success of the footwear industry and its people, and he serves as Board Vice Chair of the Two Ten Footwear Foundation, an organization focused on the prosperity of people who work in U.S. footwear.
Mr. Frankel is an avid outdoorsman and shares his love for the outdoors with his two amazing children and wife. He is passionate about cycling and, together with his colleagues, has taken on the Race Across America as well as the Ride to Conquer Cancer. To date, he has cycled to raise over $15,000 for charity. Mr. Frankel has also participated in 24-hour cycling events across Canada, and off the bike, he enjoys endurance races too, with 15 half-marathons and 10 marathons under his belt.
Born and raised in Montréal, he completed his studies at the University of British Columbia, majoring in history and minoring in international relations.
