Karen Mercado is Vice President of Talent Acquisition at PVH, leading the North America talent acquisition function including early talent and diversity and the global employer branding and attraction for iconic brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.  
 
Referencing her more than 20 years of experience within human resources, Ms. Mercado has supported renowned retailers like Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue, advertising agencies like Rapp Collins Worldwide and ZenithOptimedia, and fulfilled her luxury art passion at Sotheby’s. 
 
Before returning to PVH in 2023, she launched KMKnyc, a bespoke global consulting firm assisting companies with executive search, organizational design, the candidate experience, DEI, and talent development. She worked with an extensive client list within varied industries, including fashion, retail, advertising, media, beauty, architecture, textiles, private equity, and early-stage venture capital firms focusing on DTC companies creating modern luxury products.
 
As a native New Yorker, Ms. Mercado draws her inspiration and drive from the hustle and bustle the city generates daily. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in art history from Fordham University.
